What's On in London This Weekend: Fireworks and Remembrance Sunday, 7 to 8 November 2026

London, 7 and 8 November: fireworks at Battersea and Ally Pally both nights, Blackheath on Saturday, Paul Heaton at The O2, Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph.

Bonfire Night falls on a Thursday this year, so London's big displays are on the weekend after it, which is also Remembrance weekend. This is a short, dated list for Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, written on Tuesday 3 November. Every item below appears in at least two of the sources at the foot of the page, and a time or price that only one source gives has been left out. Times and availability move, so check the organiser before you travel. Bonfire Night itself and the rest of the week are in London culture, 30 October to 8 November.

Sunday 8 November: Remembrance Sunday

  • The National Service of Remembrance is held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, with the national two-minute silence at 11am, per GOV.UK's guidance for the day and the Parachute Regimental Association's parade notice.
  • It is free to watch from Whitehall: GOV.UK says no tickets or passes are needed, and Guide London lists it as free. GOV.UK warns that space is limited.
  • After the service, the Royal British Legion detachments march past the Cenotaph, per GOV.UK's schedule; Guide London also describes the march past of veterans.

Fireworks, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November

  • Battersea Park, both nights; the official site confirms the dates. Time Out, IanVisits and JustPark give Saturday gates at 6pm and the display at about 8.30pm. For Sunday, Time Out and JustPark give gates at 4.30pm and the display at about 7pm, while IanVisits lists the Saturday times for Sunday too, so check your booking. The three give different ticket prices, so none is given here.
  • Alexandra Palace's Fireworks and Drone Festival, both nights, with gates at 4pm, a bonfire, and a fireworks and drone show, per the Palace, IanVisits and JustPark. IanVisits and JustPark put the display at about 8pm on Saturday and about 6pm on Sunday, and the Palace and JustPark give tickets from £11.50.
  • Blackheath, Saturday only. Lewisham Council and JustPark give 5pm to 10pm, IanVisits and JustPark put the display at 8pm, and all three give an adult ticket at £16.
  • Also on Saturday, per IanVisits and JustPark: Merton Council's display in Morden Park, which the council's own page also lists; Harrow's Byron Park, with a Diwali theme; the Walker Ground in Southgate, with a drone show; and the last of Walthamstow's three nights. The rest are in the Bonfire Night guide.
