Say it once. It records clean.

A talking-head interview lives or dies on two things that have nothing to do with the questions: whether the room is quiet and whether the light stays put for the hour it takes. Studio B was built as a room within a room for exactly that, the podcast room does the camera-ready conversation by the hour, and Studio A takes the multi-camera set-up that needs more floor.

Straight answers

What does interview filming studio london cost at Scope?
Studio B starts at £120. Podcast Room starts at £40. Studio A starts at £160. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
Which room is best for filming an interview?
Studio B for anything where the sound matters: it is built as a room within a room and sound treated, it blacks out, and its cyclorama washes to colour. The podcast room is the quicker, cheaper answer for a seated conversation on camera at £40 an hour. Studio A is for the interview that needs 1,200 sq ft of floor, with sound planned around it.
Can we film a day of back-to-back interviews?
Yes. Studio B is £420 for a full day and blacks out, so the light at four o'clock matches the light at nine. The client lounge, kitchen and dressing and prep room hold the people waiting their turn, and there is parking on site.
Is there a make-up area for interviewees?
Yes. Studio B has make-up and styling zones, and the building has a dressing and prep room in the building.
Can we play back and check the interview on set?
Yes. Studio B has a dedicated edit and playback area, and the workshop room has ten iMac workstations when the edit wants more seats, at £120 for a half day.
Do you provide a crew, cameras or an interviewer?
The booking is the room. We have not published an in-house kit list, so tell us what you are bringing and what you would like supplied and we will confirm what is available in writing. Lights are charged separately — please enquire about our lights.
