A content day is not one shot, it is thirty assets for four platforms before the light changes. Studio B is built for that: a cyclorama that takes a new colour instead of a new set, and a sound-treated room so the talking-head take is usable as recorded. From £120 for two hours.

How it works

  1. 01Write the shot list by look, not by assetGroup every piece that shares a background and a light, then shoot each look once and take everything from it — hooks, cutaways, stills, the lot.
  2. 02Book the blockStudio B is £120 for two hours, £220 for a half day and £420 for a full day. Set-up and pack-down sit inside your booked time, so book the hours you need in the room, not just the hours you expect to be rolling.
  3. 03Take the vertical and the horizontal from each lookThe frame is yours to set: shoot 9:16 for Reels and TikTok and 16:9 for YouTube and web from the same set-up before you change anything. Cove dimensions are on request, so tell us the widest frame you plan to take.
  4. 04Change the wash, not the roomBetween looks, the cyclorama takes a new colour rather than a new build. When a piece needs to be talked through, the room is already sound treated — or move next door to the podcast room by the hour.

Studio BA colour-washable cyclorama is a multi-look wall: wash it, gel it, gradient it, and the same corner is a different post every hour. The room is built as a room within a room and sound treated, it blacks out, and it has an adjustable backdrop system and an edit and playback area for checking takes. £120 for two hours, £220 a half day, £420 a full day.From £120

Podcast RoomThe second format in the same building. Acoustically treated, camera-ready and set up with professional microphones and audio interfaces, at a flat £40 an hour — so a sit-down episode, an interview clip or a voice-led piece can be added to a content day an hour at a time.From £40

Straight answers

What does content creation studio hire london cost at Scope?
Studio B starts at £120. Podcast Room starts at £40. Studio A starts at £160. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
Can I shoot vertical and horizontal content on the same day?
Yes. The frame is your decision, not the room's, so the usual pattern is to take the 9:16 and the 16:9 versions of each look before changing the wash. We have not published cove dimensions, so if you are planning a wide horizontal frame tell us the lens and the distance and we will confirm it works in Studio B before you book.
How many different looks can I get in one booking?
As many as your time allows. Studio B's cyclorama is colour-washable, so a new look is a change of colour or gel rather than a new set, and the adjustable backdrop system gives you more options without leaving the room. Add Studio A for a white cove, or the podcast room for a sit-down format, in the same building on the same day.
What is the shortest booking for a content session?
Two hours in Studio B, at £120. The podcast room is booked by the hour at a flat £40, so a single sit-down piece does not have to buy a half day. For a batch, Studio B's half day is £220 and its full day is £420.
Can I record clean talking-head audio?
In Studio B, yes: it is built as a room within a room and sound treated, so a talking-head take comes back usable as recorded. The podcast room is acoustically treated too. Studio A is not a sound-treated room, so keep dialogue out of it.
Is lighting included?
Not in these rooms. Lights are charged separately from the room rate, so please enquire about our lights and we will quote for the looks you are planning. The DJ room is the one room where film lighting is included, at £75 an hour with a four-hour minimum, for music and party formats.
Can I bring a second creator, and is there somewhere to get ready?
Yes. Everyone you bring is covered by your booking, which also makes you responsible for them. There is a dressing and prep room, a kitchen and a client lounge, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building for sending files at the end of the session.

In every room but one, lights are charged separately from the room rate, so please enquire about our lights and we will quote for what your shoot needs. The exception is the DJ room, where the professional film lighting is rigged in the room and included in the rate.
