A booth for the voice alone.
Voiceover is the least forgiving thing you can record: no music to hide behind, no picture to carry the ear. It wants a booth that adds nothing — and a bigger room for the reads that come with a body attached.

How it works
- 01Say what the read isA neutral commercial or narration read books the booth. Performance, more than one voice, or voice with camera books Studio B.
- 02Dry or engineeredThe music studio books dry or with an engineer on the desk, in half days and full days; for a read you cannot run yourself, the engineer is the easier booking.
- 03Bring the script, printedPage turns are quieter than tablet taps at voiceover gain. Record thirty seconds of room tone before you leave; the edit will want it.

Straight answers
- What does voiceover booth hire london cost at Scope?
- Music Studio starts at £80. Studio B starts at £120. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
- Can I hire the voiceover booth by the hour?
- No — it books in half days and full days. Dry hire of the music studio is £80 for a half day and £150 for a full day; with an engineer on the desk it is £140 and £280.
- What if the voiceover is also being filmed?
- Book Studio B instead of the booth. It is built as a room within a room, blacks out, and has a dedicated edit and playback area, so the read comes back clean while the camera rolls.
- Is the booth suitable for audiobook and narration work?
- Yes. The booth is treated so the room contributes almost nothing, which is what long-form narration needs when takes recorded weeks apart have to match.
