A booth built to be filmed.
Most rooms sold as DJ studios in London are practice booths — a soundproofed box, one fixed light, an hourly rate designed for getting your mixing tight. This is not that. It is a room built so the set is worth watching, with the lighting already rigged and a concrete booth that reads on camera as architecture.

How it works
- 01Tell us what you're makingA mix video, a livestream, a radio show and a press shoot all want the booth dressed differently and the cameras in different places. Say which when you enquire.
- 02Book four hours or eight£300 or £575. Four hours is the minimum, set-up and pack-down are inside the booked time, and extra hours on top of a block are £75 each.
- 03Say if you want vinylThe two Reloop turntables and a microphone are set up on request rather than standing on the booth by default. There is no charge for either, but we need to know before the day.
- 04Bring camerasThe decks, the mixer, the monitors and the lighting are here and included. Cameras are not — bring your own, or tell us what you plan to shoot on and we will tell you what the room can do.

Straight answers
- What does dj studio hire london cost at Scope?
- DJ Room starts at £300. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
- Is this a practice room?
- You can practise in it, and plenty of people will — it is the same room and the same rate whether you are recording, filming or getting hours in on the kit. But it is priced as a filming room, not as a practice booth: the film lighting and the hand-built booth are most of what the rate is for. If all you need is hours on CDJs, there are cheaper rooms in London built for exactly that, and we would rather say so than take a booking you regret.
- Are the lights included?
- Yes, and this is the only room at Scope where that is true. The professional film lighting is rigged in the room and comes with the £75 an hour rate. Everywhere else in the building lights are quoted separately.
- Do you film it for me?
- No. We do not supply cameras, an operator or an edit — you get the room, the rig, the lighting and the booth. Bring your own crew or shoot it yourself. Tell us what you are shooting on and we will tell you honestly whether the room does what you need.
- Can I record the audio off the mixer?
- The DJM-A9 has the outputs to take a clean feed off the master, and you are welcome to record it. Bring your own recorder or interface — we have not published a capture chain for this room, so ask before the day rather than assuming one is waiting.
