Bonfire Night 2026 in London: Battersea, Ally Pally and the Big Weekend
Bonfire Night is a Thursday this year, so most London displays move to 7–8 November: Battersea Park and Alexandra Palace both run two nights.
5 November falls on a Thursday in 2026, so London's big displays have gathered on the weekend after: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November. The dates and times below come from IanVisits' guide to the city's 2026 displays; check each organiser's page before you set off, because times and prices do move.
The big two
- Battersea Park: Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, gates 6pm, fireworks 8.30pm, from £18, with a funfair. Wandsworth Council runs it.
- Alexandra Palace: Saturday 7 November (fireworks 8pm) and Sunday 8 November (fireworks 6pm), gates 4pm, from £18, with a drone display, bonfire and street food.
Elsewhere
- Blackheath, Saturday 7 November: gates 5pm, fireworks 8pm, £16, funfair.
- Herne Hill Velodrome, Saturday 31 October: bonfire lit at 6pm, fireworks 7pm, £14.
- Coram's Fields, Thursday 5 November, on the night itself: free, fireworks 6pm. Adults are only admitted with a child.
- Walthamstow runs three nights, 5 to 7 November, with fireworks at 8pm, £11.
Cold hands, a hot drink, and the whole park looking up at once.
For anyone with a camera: fireworks reward a tripod, a low ISO and a shutter held open for a few seconds, and the faces lit up below are often the better picture. Our guide to camera settings for studio shooting covers the same exposure decisions in light you control.
