How many people can sit in the podcast room?
It is camera-ready with comfortable seating. Tell us your guest count when you enquire and we will confirm the camera positions.
Is it a flat hourly rate?
Yes — the podcast room is £40 an hour, the same per hour whether you book one hour or a full day, because most shows record several episodes in one sitting.
Is the podcast room acoustically treated?
Yes. It is an acoustically treated room with professional microphones and audio interfaces, which is the difference between speech that needs rescuing in post and speech that is usable as recorded. Studio B is treated differently again — built as a room within a room — when an episode needs deeper isolation.
Can you record a video podcast, not just audio?
The room is camera-ready and dressed for talk, so it is set up to be filmed as well as recorded. Tell us how many cameras and guests you are bringing and we will confirm the positions before the day.
Do you have a podcast room for a one-off episode?
Yes — booking is hourly, so a single episode does not have to buy a half day. Most shows book two or three hours and record several episodes in one sitting.
