In every room but one, lights are charged separately from the room rate, so please enquire about our lights and we will quote for what your shoot needs. The exception is the DJ room, where the professional film lighting is rigged in the room and included in the rate.

What is the difference between dry hire and with an engineer?
Dry hire is the room and the gear, run by you, from £80 for a half day. With an engineer on the desk it is £140 a half day and someone who knows the room is tracking and mixing with you.
What is in the booth?
A treated vocal booth with a large-diaphragm condenser, nearfield monitors and acoustic panelling. Anything beyond that, ask before the day and we will confirm it in writing.
Can I book the music studio without an engineer?
Yes. Dry hire is £80 a half day and £150 a full day. With an engineer on the desk it is £140 a half day or £280 a full day.
Can I record a voiceover rather than music?
Yes — the treated vocal booth and the large-diaphragm condenser suit voiceover as well as vocals. Studio B is the other option when you want the performer on camera at the same time, because it is built as a room within a room and blacks out.
