Rehearse it on camera. Then record it.
A PR day is several small jobs sharing a booking: a spokesperson's statement, a media-training session with mock interviews on playback, the press portraits, a podcast recorded in the afternoon. Studio B is the controlled room for the statement and the portraits, the Workshop holds the training and the briefing, and the Podcast Room records the conversation by the hour.

The rooms for it

How it works
- 01Brief the spokespersonAgree the three things the piece must say, the three questions it should expect and the length it has to run. A clear first line and a short script do more for the take than a better room.
- 02Book the room for the whole sequenceStudio B is £120 for two hours, £220 for a half day and £420 for a full day; the Podcast Room is a flat £40 an hour; the Workshop is £120 for a half day. A morning of mock interviews, an hour of statements and a set of portraits can share one Studio B block, with set-up and pack-down inside it.
- 03Light the portraits and the statementLights are charged separately in every room but the DJ room — please enquire about our lights and we will quote for what your shoot needs.
- 04Ask for the restThe booking is the room. If the day needs a photographer or camera operator, a hair and make-up artist, a stylist or post-production, the team can source and manage them and quote for them; none of it is priced on this site.

Straight answers
- What does pr agency studio hire london cost at Scope?
- Studio B starts at £120. Podcast Room starts at £40. Workshop starts at £120. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
- Can a PR team run media training with mock interviews on camera?
- Yes. Studio B is a sound-treated room with an edit and playback area, so a mock interview can be recorded and played back to the spokesperson straight away. The Workshop seats up to twenty for the briefing and the debrief. Who plays the interviewer is yours to arrange; the booking is the room.
- Which room is best for a spokesperson statement or a chief executive's message?
- Studio B: quiet, sound treated and blackout capable, so the light holds across retakes, with an adjustable backdrop system for a plain or branded background and make-up and styling zones. Keep the statement short, record a safety take and check the playback before the spokesperson leaves.
- Can we take press portraits and video in the same session?
- Yes, in Studio B: the same lit set-up serves a portrait and a seated piece, and the adjustable backdrop system and colour-washable cove change the look between them. Tell us which comes first in the run so the lighting quote covers the rig for both.
- Can the client's podcast be recorded and filmed at Scope?
- Yes. The Podcast Room is acoustically treated and camera-ready, with professional microphones and audio interfaces in the room, at a flat £40 an hour with no block discount. If the episode wants a coloured cove, Studio B has a coloured cove, but microphones there are not published, so ask what is supplied or bring your own.
- Where does a spokesperson wait, and can the visit be kept quiet?
- The building has a client lounge, a kitchen and a dressing and prep room, and Studio B has make-up and styling zones. If the visit needs to be kept quiet, ask about the whole-building day from £1,500 with nobody else on site; we cannot promise privacy outside the building, confidentiality arrangements are not published, so ask.
- What insurance and paperwork does a PR shoot need?
- Clients must hold appropriate insurance; Scope is not liable for personal injury or for loss or damage to client property. Releases from anyone recorded are the client's to collect, and minors must be supervised. The client owns the content.
