DJ Room
A hand-built concrete booth, club-standard CDJ and DJM kit, and film lighting that comes with the room. £75 an hour, four hours minimum.

The DJ room is built for a set that gets watched as well as heard. The booth is concrete, hand-built on site — finished in the room it stands in, so it is a piece of the building rather than a table with a cloth over it. On camera that reads as architecture. Behind it, you are standing at something solid.
The rig is the current club standard: two CDJ-3000Xs either side of a DJM-A9, monitored on a pair of Yamaha HS8s. Turntables and a microphone go on the booth on request — say so when you book and they are set up before you arrive, at no extra cost.
Professional film lighting is rigged in the room and included in the rate. It is the only room at Scope where lighting comes with the booking, and it is the point of this one: arrive with a USB, leave with something that looks like a release rather than a phone propped in a corner. The one-of-one canvas behind the decks means the shot has a backdrop before you have spent anything dressing it.
Four hours is the minimum — £300 — and eight hours is £575. Extra hours on top of a block are £75 each. Bring your own cameras, or tell us what you are shooting on and we will tell you what the room can do.

How it was built
Twenty-three seconds in the room itself: the bare concrete floor, the herringbone going down, the booth drawn in over the empty space, and then the booth actually there — built by hand, in place, out of concrete.
The blue outline is the design, drawn over the real room before the booth existed. Everything after it is the room as it was actually built, and the room you would be booking.
