A set build wants three things from a studio: floor to build on, a door the flats fit through, and a wall of white to shoot against when the build stops. Studio A has 1,200 sq ft, a roller door at ground level off the yard, and a white drive-in infinity cove along the length of the room.

  3. 03Load in from the yardParking is on site in the yard in front of the unit, and load-in is at ground level through the roller door.
  4. 04Light itLights are charged separately from the room rate — please enquire about our lights and we will quote for the set.

What does set build studio hire london cost at Scope?
Studio A starts at £160. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
How big a set can we build at Scope?
Studio A is 1,200 sq ft with a white drive-in infinity cove along its length. Ceiling height and cove dimensions are on request rather than guessed at — send the ground plan and the tallest piece and we will confirm whether it fits.
How do we get the set into the studio?
Through the roller door, at ground level, from the yard where parking is on site. The route from the van to the floor is level.
Can the set stay up between shoot days?
Only for the time the room is booked — the build and the strike sit inside your booked hours. For a standing set, book consecutive full days, or take a whole-building buyout from £1,500 a day.
Can we paint, fix to or stand on the cove?
Ask before you plan it. The cove is the room's seamless white, so anything that fixes to it, paints it or stands on its curve should be agreed with us in writing before the day.
What does a build-and-shoot day cost?
Studio A is £620 for a full day and £320 for a half day. Lights are charged separately — please enquire about our lights.
