What does blackout studio hire london cost at Scope?
Studio A starts at £160. Studio B starts at £120. Set-up and pack-down are inside your booked time.
What does a blackout studio actually give you?
Control and continuity. With the daylight killed, the only light in the room is the light you brought, so a shot at 5pm matches the same shot at 10am — and a subject can be lit out of pure black, which is the look that reads as expensive on any budget.
Which of your rooms blacks out?
Both. Studio A has full blackout curtains across its 1,200 sq ft drive-in cove; Studio B is blackout capable as well as sound treated. Studio A is the one for scale and vehicles, Studio B for anything where clean dialogue matters as much as the dark.
Can the same room shoot bright white as well as black?
Yes. Studio A is a white infinity cove with full blackout curtains on the outside of it, so the same room gives you seamless white or a black void depending on whether the curtains are closed.
