The Rolling Stones Announce Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips: a Deluxe Edition With Five New Songs

The Stones' deluxe Foreign Tongues adds five new songs on 27 November, including a Courtney Pine feature and a duet with Charlie Watts credited on drums.

The Rolling Stones have announced 'Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips', a deluxe edition of this year's album 'Foreign Tongues', out on Polydor on 27 November. Louder lists five new songs: 'Where There's A Will', 'Who You Callin' Crazy' (featuring the jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine), 'Human Tide', 'Bad Luck Hideaway' (a Jagger and Richards duet) and 'She Still Comes Around'. The press release credits Charlie Watts with drums on 'Bad Luck Hideaway'.

The release comes as a standalone vinyl LP of the five songs with a CD of the original album, as a 2CD edition and digitally, according to Louder and the press release. The original album came out on 10 July.

The date of the first single is reported differently: Louder says 'Who You Callin' Crazy' was released digitally on Friday 16 October, while the press release on Webwire gives 20 October. Check the label's page for the date that applies.

A release that mixes new songs with an existing album is a content-day planning problem. Our guide to a single or album release content day in a studio covers how to sequence it.
