Taika Waititi's Klara and the Sun, From Ishiguro's Novel, Reaches UK Cinemas on 23 October

Taika Waititi's 'Klara and the Sun', adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro's novel, is listed for UK and Ireland cinemas on Friday 23 October in Screen Daily's October release list. The Movie Waffler's trailer post says it is in UK and Ireland cinemas from 23 October, and Screen Daily's list names Sony as the distributor.

The Movie Waffler gives Waititi as director, with Dahvi Waller co-writing. The cast it lists is Jenna Ortega as Klara, Mia Tharia as Josie, Amy Adams as Josie's mother, Aran Murphy, Steve Buscemi and Natasha Lyonne.

We could not confirm the certificate or running time from a primary source, and we could not confirm a London Film Festival screening, so none of those is stated here.
