Wicked Turns 20 at the Apollo Victoria: Pink, Green and Gala Performances
Wicked marks 20 years at the Apollo Victoria with Pink and Green shows on 26 September and a Gala on 27 September, plus 20% off 2026 dates booked by 30 Sep.
Wicked opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre on 27 September 2006, after previews from 7 September, and it has not left the building since. The production is marking the twentieth anniversary with three named performances over the weekend of 26 and 27 September 2026.
The anniversary performances
- Saturday 26 September, 2.30pm: the 'Pink' performance, celebrating Glinda. Audio-described.
- Saturday 26 September, 7.30pm: the 'Green' performance, celebrating Elphaba. BSL-interpreted.
- Sunday 27 September, 2.30pm: the Gala performance, twenty years to the day since the London opening.
The official Wicked 20 page says each performance comes with a Wicked20 commemorative programme and a themed gift bag, and that there are special costume displays around the theatre. London Theatre Direct's report of the announcement describes the Saturday shows as honouring each witch in turn, with a green gift bag for the evening.
The cast
Emma Kingston plays Elphaba, Zizi Strallen is Glinda and Jordan Litz is Fiyero, with Claire Machin as Madame Morrible, Michael Matus as the Wizard, Ross Carpenter as Boq, Yara Fabricante as Nessarose and David McKechnie as Doctor Dillamond. The producers call Litz the longest-running Fiyero in Wicked's history, having played the part more than 1,700 times worldwide before joining the London company.

The offer and the numbers
There is a birthday discount: 20% off all Wicked performances in 2026, for bookings made between 1 and 30 September 2026. It cannot be combined with any other offer. The page also notes a limited Daily Dozen ticket release at 10am each day through TodayTix.
The venue's own figures set out the scale. The Apollo Victoria says Wicked is the ninth longest-running show in West End history, has been seen by over 13 million people in London alone across more than 7,000 performances, and has won over 100 major international awards, among them three Tonys, two Oliviers and a Grammy. It runs 2 hours 45 minutes including one interval, and is booking to Sunday 30 May 2027.
